The Sycamores returned to the Amsterdam Bar in St. Paul on 1/19, much to the delight of family, friends, and a blissfully unsuspecting happy hour crowd. Frank, Heath and Dave played many old favorites along with couple of brand new tunes. Frank’s wife Karly joined on backing vocals for “About to Meet You” (from the Realizer album) and “Summertime” (unreleased), while daughter Nina staked out her own corner of the stage for a better view. We’ve opened up the photo archives and added an assortment of never before published views of the Sycamores at work and play: Live at the 400 Bar in summer of 1998, shots from the Realizer sessions at Albatross Studio, Third Ear sessions from 2001, and much more.
