The Sycamores Reunite for Brad Zellar Tribute.
We’re very excited to announce that the Sycamores will be reuniting for their first show in more than five years!
To celebrate the invaluable presence – and 50th birthday – of Twin Cities culture-hound, book maven and writer’s writer Brad Zellar, the Sycamores will join Slim Dunlap, High On Stress, Shiny Lights, Belfast Cowboys, Dana Thompson, Dan Israel, and Rank Strangers for an evening of great music at St. Paul’s Amsterdam Bar and Hall on Sunday, November 20, 2011.
Frank, David, Heath and Jim are busily reacquainting themselves with the Sycamores catalog, clearing out the cobwebs, and greasing up that rusty gateway to musicality. So far, so good. As an added bonus for this special night, Jon Duncan and Slim Dunlap, longtime friends of the band, will join in on a few vintage numbers. The Amsterdam Bar is the newest addition to the Twin Cities live music scene, and we’ve only heard rave reviews. Hope to see you there!
